Pre-Matric Scholarship 2011-12 FRESH & RENEWAL

Process of Sanction of Post-Matric Scholarship
and Important Guidelines / Steps to be followed to avail the Scholarship

Step1

The List of selected students BLOCK WISE & SCHOOL WISE is published on this website. There are 3 lists - Renewal, Renewal-Second List & Fresh-First List. The School HM / Principal must download all the 3 lists of the Block under which their school comes and check the Names of students of their school who have been sanctioned the scholarship.

Step2

The Student / Parent / School HM / Principal must then download the Format-1 (Click here to download) - For students who already have Bank Account with IFSC Code or Format-2 (Click here to download) - For students who do not have Bank Account with IFSC code and want to open a ZERO BALANCE SAVINGS ACCOUNT in Syndicate Bank for ONLINE TRANSFER OF SCHOLARSHIP.

Step3 - For those students who already have a Bank Account with IFSC Code

Use Format-1 to fill the details. For one student, one form must be used.
The details to be filled like Name, District Sl. No., Block Sl. No. and "PRE-MATRIC PERMANENT ID " are published in the sanctioned students list.
All the details asked in the Format-1 must be filled in neatly and correctly.
If the details are not filled in correctly the student will not receive the Scholarship.
The filled in Format-1 must be signed by the Parent / Guardian and Counter Signed by the School HM or Principal and BEO or Cluster Resource Person (CRP) Urdu.
The filled in Format-1 must be then sent by post / courier to "Directorate of Minorities, 20th Floor, V.V.Towers, Bangalore-560001".
Please write on top of the envelope "Pre-Matric Scholarship ONLINE Transfer form"

Step3 - For those students who do not have Bank Account with IFSC Code and would like to open a ZERO BALANCE SAVINGS ACCOUNT in Syndicate Bank for Transfer of Scholarship Amount

Use Format-2 to fill the details. For one student, one form must be used.
The details to be filled like Name, District Sl. No., Block Sl. No. and "PRE-MATRIC PERMANENT ID " are published in the sanctioned students list.
All the details asked in the Format-2 must be filled in neatly and correctly.
If the details are not filled in correctly the student will not receive the Scholarship.
After affixing photograph, the filled in Format-2 must be signed by the Parent / Guardian and Counter Signed by the School HM or Principal and BEO or Cluster Resource Person (CRP) Urdu.
The Format-2 must be submitted to nearest Syndicate Bank. No need to give any address proof or identify proof document like Ration Card or Voter Card , etc... or pay any amount to Syndicate Bank.
If the Bank Manager of Syndicate Bank refuses to accept your application, kindly call 080-22863617 and lodge your complaint.
The Syndicate Bank opens the account instantly under No-Frills (Zero balance).
The Scholarship amount is then credited to this account of the student within 8-10 days.

THE PRE-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP LISTS FOR ALL 34 DISTRICTS HAS BEEN UPDATED. PLEASE CLICK ON THE DISTRICT NAMES TO SEE THE LISTS

MERIT-CUM-MEANS SCHOLARSHIP 2011-12

Note to Students :

The Merit-cum-Means Scholarship sanctioned to students has been transferred ONLINE (as per the details in the List given above)
The course fee amount is transferred to the College Bank Account
The maintenance allowance amount is transferred to the Student's Bank Account.
Please check if the amount has been received in your account.
If the list says that the course fee has been transferred to your college account, kindly take a printout and request your college to re-imburse the scholarship amount to you.
If the list says the course fee or maintenance allowance is not transferred due to lack of details or details not given by the college, kindly contact the Directorate and update give the details of Bank Account.

LATEST NEWS & UPDATES REGARDING PRE-MATRIC & POST-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP

Please read these updates before you proceed to view the list of selected students or download any document regarding Pre-Matric or Post-Matric Scholarship

For the kind notice of Students / Parents / School HM / Principal

For Pre-Matric Scholarship, the Directorate has re-introduced the Format-1 ( For students who already have a Bank account in a Bank with IFSC Code). Students / Parents / School HM / Principal are hereby informed to use this Format 1 if the student already has a Bank Account with IFSC Code. The Format 1 must be filled and sent to "Directorate of Minorities, 20th Floor, V.V. Towers, Bangalore-560001"
If the student does not have Bank Account with IFSC Code, such students can either open ZERO BALANCE NO FRILLS ACCOUNT with Syndicate Bank using Format 2 or open a Bank Account with IFSC Code near to their place and then fill the Format 1 and send it to the Directorate of Minorities.

The Directorate has started uploading the Renewal-Second List and Fresh-First List Block wise and District wise. Please click on the links given below in this page to view the selected students list.
In the selected students list, some schools names are not displayed, instead the DISE Code of the school with school address is displayed. School HM/Principal are requested to identify their school using the DISE code in case their school name is not mentioned in the Address.
It has been very clearly mentioned in the "Format-2" that there is no need to submit any address proof or identity proof documents of the student or parent to syndicate Bank. If any Syndicate Bank Manager asks for Address or ID Proof of Parents, you can tell them its not required as per the guidelines. If the Syndicate Bank Manager still insists, then immediately call 080-22863617 and lodge your complaint.
As per the MOU between Syndicate Bank & Govt. of Karnataka - Minority Welfare Department, the Syndicate Bank must accept the completely filled Format-2 for opening the Account and not ask for any Address or ID Proof.
If you have submitted the "Format-2" to any of the Syndicate Bank and even after 10 days you have not received the Scholarship Amount, immediately call 080-22863617 and inform them with the details of Branch Name and when you had submitted the application to Syndicate Bank so that further immediate action can be taken.
The Cluster Resource Person - CRP (Urdu) can also Counter Sign the Format-1 and Format-2 if its difficult or not possible to get the Block Education Officer (BEO) Signature.
It has been observed that the "Format-1 and Format-2" is not being fully filled. Hence School HM / Principal, Teachers, Parents and Students who are filling the Format-1 and Format-2 are requested to make sure that all the details, especially the Name, District Sl. No., Block Sl. No. and the Pre-Matric Permanent ID allotted to each student are filled clearly.
Students, School HM/Principal, Parents are also informed that they must make a note and keep the"PRE-MATRIC PERMANENT ID" allotted to each student. This Permanent ID is very important for sanction of scholarship this year and for reference in future.

Post-Matric Scholarship

It has been found that the students filling the Post Matric Scholarship ONLINE Transfer form are not mentioning their STATE ID & DISTRICT ID. The State ID and District ID is the ID given to each student in the sanctioned list of Post Matric Scholarhip 2011-12. Students are hereby informed to kindly check the State ID and District ID given next to their name in the list and write it. If the STATE ID and DISTRICT ID is not written, the student will not receive the scholarship.
